Apr. 23, 2026 7:15 a.m. - 1:00 p.m.
Join fellow Wilshire Rotarians in supporting Operation School Bell, a program of the Assistance League of Los Angeles that provides new clothing to students in need so they can attend school with confidence and dignity. Volunteers will assist with distributing clothing and helping students select essential items during this special on-site event at Leo Politi Elementary School. This hands-on service opportunity directly supports local children and families while promoting confidence, school attendance, and academic success. Many who have volunteered with Operation School Bell describe it as an incredibly rewarding experience, seeing firsthand the joy and gratitude of students receiving new clothing. Event Details 📅 Thursday, April 23, 2026 Set up begins at 7:15 a.m. and event wraps up by 1:00 p.m. If you are interested in volunteering, please sign up through the club so we can coordinate our group participation. In order to park on the school campus (the playground) at Leo Politi School, volunteers need to be there before 7:45. When they lock the gates to the playground, the cars cannot exit again until the event ends at 1:00. So latecomers will need to park on neighboring streets. Learn more about the program here: |

Dear Wilshire Rotarians,
Please join me and your fellow Rotarians at our Club Assembly this Wednesday, noon, at The Ebell. Note: This is a members-only meeting. No guests please.
A Rotary club assembly is a meeting for all club members where club business is conducted, reports are presented, and future plans are discussed. It's a regular meeting where the club president oversees the meeting and club directors present reports on projects, upcoming fundraisers, and other club-related matters. Club assemblies also provide an opportunity for members to review goals, coordinate committee activities, and discuss the club's strengths and areas for improvement. As a reminder, our meeting is:
