Wilshire Rotary members and friends are invited to volunteer at the NAMIWalks Greater Los Angeles County Mental Health Awareness Festival on Saturday, May 16, 2026 at LA State Historic Park. Hosted by the National Alliance on Mental Illness (NAMI) Greater Los Angeles County, this annual event brings together individuals, families, advocates, and community organizations to raise awareness, reduce stigma, and support those affected by mental illness. The event includes a community festival and a 3K awareness walk, along with opportunities to learn about mental health resources and the free education and support programs NAMI provides across Los Angeles County. Volunteers help make this impactful community event possible. A Rotary club assembly is a meeting for all club members where club business is conducted, reports are presented, and future plans are discussed. It's a regular meeting where the club president oversees the meeting and club directors present reports on projects, upcoming fundraisers, and other club-related matters.
